Coherencia

Ribera del Duero · 2024

Coherencia.

Time, in a bottle.

Bottle of Coherencia 2024, wooden label with a wine-coloured hourglass

There was once a Ribera del Duero that was fresh, firm and honest, slowly blurred by passing trends. We never forgot it. This wine exists to bring it back to the glass. That is why it is called Coherencia.

The vineyard

Old vines.
Ribera soil.

Low yields

Few bunches.
Every one counts.

Gnarled trunk of an old bush vine
The vine. Trunks twisted by countless harvests. They give little, and what they give arrives concentrated.
Still-green Tinto Fino bunches hanging from the vine
The bunch. No hurry. It ripens slowly, reaching the winery with power while keeping its acidity.

From soil to glass

Freshness
starts below.

Sand that drains. Limestone that holds. Old roots reaching deep for water. That is how a grape ripens to reach the winery with power, without losing its acidity.

  1. 01 · Vineyard

    Old vines.

Low yields. Few grapes, and every one counts.

  2. 02 · Soil

    Sandy loam and limestone.

A soil that drains, struggles just enough and keeps freshness.

  3. 03 · Aspect

    Acidity, intact.

Plots facing the right way to ripen without losing tension.

  4. 04 · Winery

    No compromises.

We asked the very best of it. Aged in French and American oak, without letting the wood take over.

  5. 05 · Time

    Balanced today.
    Deeper tomorrow.

It has the structure to keep growing in bottle for years.

If time shapes the wine, coherence guides its evolution.

    Cherry turning to dark cherry.

Medium depth, an even rim and a bright shine that already promises freshness.

  2. In the glass · Nose

    Red fruit, crisp and clear.

Cherry and raspberry, a hint of violet. Behind them, spice and subtle toast —vanilla, cocoa— that time in bottle will fully integrate.

  3. In the glass · Palate

    Tension from the first sip.

Lively, crunchy acidity, volume, firm tannins. A long finish where the fruit and spice return.
